Launched in September 2012 in Singida-Tanzania, Standard Voice Limited has become the region’s leading media company for creating premium content. The company operates a radio station with and products for both special interest and broader audiences.

Over the years, Standard Voice Ltd has maintained high governance standards that have seen its media outlet (Standard Radio) through challenging times. As we march into the future, we will stay true to our stake-holders vision and leave a worthy legacy.

The biggest factor in the Standard Voice Ltd’s success is that Mr. James was genuine in his desire to have an independent media group. Nothing matters in this journey more than the integrity transparency and balance in journalism that we have publicly committed ourselves to. And our journalism will only be of significance if it positively transforms the society we serve, if it brings to that society social, economic and political progress.
